What really gets me is all those people who give her money and make her famous, even look up to her - those are scary. Because there is indeed strength (and influence) in numbers, no matter how obviously bad or wrong something is. And let's not forget, these people vote. I can’t believe I used to look up to this man. Now that I’ve learned so much about therapy, I see why he’s not licensed. He is a bully in sheep’s clothing and this little girl is traumatized. No kid just acts out like this for nothing. You can’t shame a little girl like this, and expect real results. Your just retraumatizing her and making it worse. I feel so sorry for Danielle. And I’m embarrassed that I ever thought dr Phil’s practices actually did good for people. Please dr phil, get re-educated on truly what therapy is about. Open a book and read about family systems or attachment theory for Christ sake. It’s so hard to watch I just want to give her a hug.
