Thank you Gary! Very informative! Much appreciated! We have a DRR90 that has been a very good quad. Got it used, my son rode it for years without requiring much maintenance. The belt started smoking one day after years of use so I replaced it and didn't get the results I thought I should. I ended up replacing the clutch with a Malossi Fly and it's not engaging properly. I now have a slight understanding why but will be in touch soon for advice on what to do. Thanks again!!!

It's also a reverse cylinder 2 stroke like a tzr 250 etc

Man you made the cvt so easy to understand for some reason others just say cvt cvt cvt variator and rear bell housing but I thought I new what I was doing lol nope thought lighter weight rollers was faster heavy spring orange or red were good Contra springs and I needed 1200-2200 or something springs I was confused but he explains this is for high torque revs and the tips great vid 👍 saved for reference for sure

In racing situations do you guys always use all CVT cover/case screws? Or just a few for expediency for so many openings to make changes.

I’ve got a can am DS 90X 4 stroke. This thing is a dog what are some things I can do to get better performance out of it? It’s not a race bike but it can’t climb hills and seems to come stock for riding on flat ground only. I have tried the red 2000rpm torque spring and the 1500 yellow 3 small springs from Hetrick Racing. All I got was a higher rev and no noticeable difference with performance. Man if you guys had a proven power up kit you guys would make some decent money I bet. A lot of can am mini quad owners are pretty mad about the performance after dumping $3800 for a kids bike. I just changed out the torque (red) spring to the stock spring and left the 3 1500rpm yellow springs in and put 9g rollers in and what a difference already as far as take off. Should I put the red torque spring back in you think?

Did you put torsion controller ?or noy needed?
