(With English Subtitles) Hello friends in this video you see how I finally reached Angola my 71th country of world bicycle tour. On Namibia side I took halt at night just two kilometers away from border and in the morning I crossed international border. As I entered this county I felt like I am back in typical Africa country.

It is a country that is nevertheless rich in natural resources, including precious gems, metals, and petroleum; indeed, it ranks among the highest of the oil-producing countries in sub-Saharan Africa. It is the largest and wealthiest of the Portuguese-speaking African states, and Portuguese influences have been felt for some 500 years, although Angola acquired its present boundaries only in 1891. An anticolonial struggle that began in 1961 finally led to independence in 1975.

Angola no longer depend on international community for the basics of survival. It was only during the civil war. In fact it seems that the government is trying to move the country classification to middle income country, therefore does not accept basics of survival and tries to not enter in default with its creditors.

Yes 65% of namibia population is in North and North East. Those are communal areas. The veterinary gate that u found between tsumeb and Ondangwa is the boundary where commercial farms end. From that veterinary gate to South african border is commercial land with fences alongside the road. People stay on farms thats why u won't see houses next to road at all except fences or a small town.
