I was the odd one with eye color. I have brow-eyed parents who have dark hair. I have red hair, and my eyes were changeable according to my mood. From blue-grey, blue or blue-green and even stormy grey. I had cancer in my late 30s, and it changed to blue and is now fixed. My mom missed my changeable eyes. I have children with Navy blue eyes like their paternal grandfather

You have to love genetics! It's what makes our world so amazing. My friends are like that - mom is half Puerto-Rican, half Caucasian, dad is half Japanese, half Caucasian, one of the boys has red hair, fair skin and blue eyes!

2 months ago your videos pop up in my phone and what struck me was your name is Rupa and married to a asian guy. In fall 2012 a indian girl was in my elective class i needed for credits to graduate for 1 semester and long story short, she showed a ton of interest in me and her name was Rupa as well. At one point we get in argument where we stop talking in class and at the last day of class, i noticed from the corner of my eye that she stood near the door waiting for me to talk to her since it was the last day and ask her number to follow up since school was ending and i just kept walking out the door. im asian as well. i knew as soon i did that i would regret it since we had really good chemistry but now shes in the pile of what if girls in my life. side note - i love watching your videos with your daughter because its obvious it took 3 tries for you to get a girl or else why stop at 3 kids? usually its 2 kids or 4 kids. Also since i been watching tons of maury clips in the past 3 months, in a fake world scenario if you ever ended up on maury i could picture you saying "they are jeff's kids!! they have asian eyes!!!, how can he deny them! look at their eyes!" audience claps and cheers for you. jeff in the background says "not my kids!!". audience boos at him LOL. just kidding rupa :)

If the baby is blue eyed as a newborn you could try to limit UV light. My son had very blue eyes and stayed that way till turning to a light hazel color at age 5. Before 5 he had minimal uv light. We still went out btw Used sunglasses etc. At around age 5 he was constantly exposed to sunlight by a relative who appeared. That produced more melanocytes. I have very light blue eyes (was a homebody as a kid) and his dad has hazel green. Since the color change happened so late I believe it was excessive UV sun. Makes sense since cooler climates w snow like Sweden Finland etc and native people usually have blue eyes and warmer countries w sun have mostly alot of sun protection w brown eyes

Two of my uncles and my mom have green eyes, my brother and I both have green eyes and my sister didn’t. My three nephews any of them have green eyes. Genes are weird hahaha

My 4 yo sons eyes are deep brown like his dads and our 9mo daughters are still blueish, everyone always says her eyes are blue like mine but I am certain I see some dark pigment coming through around her pupil! Time will tell! 😁

My eyes are green with brown centres & my hubby's were green with gold flecks. We have a green/ blue eyed child & one black/ brown eyed child! Both of our kiddos have MY parents features! Eye's are amazing. Especially, newborn's eyes! In fact most look almost silver before the pigment turns them true. If you knew the sex of your baby, before it was born... why not consider their eye colour as your surprize? 💕💕

I’m anticipating my newborn sons eye color. I have blue eyes, my mothers and father have blue eyes and both sets of my grandparents have blue eyes, different shades of blue, but a definitely blue. My wife is a black woman with brown eyes. Her eyes are a lighter shade of brown. Anyhow, I am wondering if my son is gonna get blue eyes too. In my ENTIRE family as a kid I was the ONLY ONE with brown eyes like my dad. My mother ALL my aunts uncles cousins for generations had blue or green. I had 2 blue eyed babies two brow with my blue eyed husband. My son's changed to brown by one week old my daughter NEVER had blue as a newborn they were so dark they were almost black you couldn't even see her pupil they went to brown in a week or two. My other two one had a blue eyed dad and he has hazel eyes. The other son has green and his dad had brown like me.

Here's my input. After given my son high doses of astaxanthin and organic low heavy metal verified and china-free tomatoe powder his eyes turned more hazel like flamingos whom also eat lots of astaxanthin. Prior his eyes were very blue and was intaking 6-12 grams of spirulina. Also these compounds help protect eyesight from. Blue light spectrum. In addition be sure to iinclude 25mg L-ergothioneine, B-1, rhodiola, and 1-2 grams of taurine to help protect the eyes. Limit tablet and t.v time and play eye spy with things that are very far away or look at airplanes in the sky or use imagination of what clouds look like in the sky. Get a nerf gun to shoot things far away, do eye exercises. All these help vision. I think diet does have an effect on eye color to an extent.

My new granddaughter's eyes looked dark steel gray blue like a stormy sky at birth. Almost black. And now they are getting lighter and lighter. Her eyes never had a hint of brown. Only grey that looked blue black. If babies eyes get darker instead of light she will have black eyes which doesn't exist. But as I said they are getting lighter. They look like very dark blue eyes now. No gray any more. Reminds me of a blue car that sometimes looks black. Or a dark blue dress that looks black indoors but blue outside.

Most everyone in my family has brown eyes and dark hair, except my dad’s mother who was blonde with one blue eye and one gold eye. My brother and I were both born with white-blond hair and blue eyes. By the time he turned 10, his eyes were dark brown. When I turned 12, the dark blue ring around the outside remained, while the larger area was light blue and some parts of the light blue turned a gold color, giving an overall olive color to my eyes with the dark blue ring on the outside. I was told that meant my eyes are hazel, but when I got contacts, my doctor automatically ordered lenses with a blue tinge. Never understood that.
