I hope someday the dance rush devs will actually add a new song to the game that isnt offensively mid or just straight terrible, so many goods songs out there and they miss the mark 80-90% of the time imo (im referring to the music not charting)

This. There’s a handful of good songs that are quite nice, but the majority of songs I just never find myself playing, some even after I give them a try. I don’t want to be rude, but a lot of them are just frankly forgettable. For a game all about shuffle dancing, and also being from 2018, you’d think DanceRush would have a unique and distinct musical profile by now. But I don’t think it does yet. Personally I need more KO3 songs in the game.

@@whereami. I find myself playing the same 10-15 songs over and over, the rest are just uninteresting. I don't know why konami would spend time adding this assault to my ears when they literally already proved they could get the rights to party rockin like how they did for ddr. Or there are literally so many small house artist out there who have songs that would be great

⁠@@minorsalaam Oh, if we’re talking this new song specifically, I actually find it alright. Funnily enough, when I started playing DanceRush it helped open my mind to Japanese rhythm game music. There’s a few songs that are genuinely kinda weird, and I can understand if this one is seen as weird too, but I think most rhythm gamers just accept the presence of weird songs. I do agree that I keep coming back to the same bunch of songs; I always go back to my recently played list. But I guess Konami just doesn’t care for DRS as much the other arcade rhythm games - understandable, as I think DRS has a unique position among them - and there’s only so many Crazy Shuffles out there for Konami to bother finding.
