Jurgen Klopp in the 2020/21 lost Virgil Van Dijk and Joe Gomez to season ending ACL injuries in October. Then they lost Joel Matip for the rest of the season in January. Both Thiago and Diogo Jota missed 4 months of the season. Alisson and Fabinho missed time as well. People were calling Jurgen Klopp "clueless", saying he had "no Plan B", etc. So why does Ange Postecoglou get a pass? And he has been playing this suicidal football with or without his players. And the only players that you really had out were Van Der Wen, Cristian Romero and Vicario. So no Abbi "Shameless" Summers, you cant complain.

I am a Liverpool fan. Actually, I think Abby is partly right. The injuries suffered by Spurs at the moment prevented Ange from rotating the players in the Carabao Cup match against Manyoo. Even if he could, he was right to field-in the strongest team then, as Carabao seemed to be the only chance for Spurs to get any silverware this season. It doesn't matter who you're playing as a Premier League club you shouldn't be conceding 6 goals at home to any opposition. If Ange decided to play a low block and get 9 behind the ball and frustrated Liverpool and somehow managed to get away with a 0-0 or a 1-1 Ange would've been lauded for a tactical masterclass. 1 point at home to Liverpool could be the difference between Tottenham playing Europa League or Conference next year that's how tight the margins are.

Fella in the olive green jumper talked sense. Unlike Abbi's unstinting defence of Ange. Liverpool are an attacking team even more so under Klopp, but last year with 9 men against Spurs they defended very deep in two banks of 4 and were seconds from a draw.
