I may have missed it... but why is it not important to you whether it’s B cell or T cell in cats, but important in dogs?? You were saying if the histopathology is inconclusive then you will go on to see what type of lymphoma, why is that the case??

In dogs phenotype (B vs T) is prognostic - predictive for response including survival time and changes the chemo protocol I recommend. In cats is is not predictive. Anatomic location and complete response to therapy are more important. I only add the phenotype in cats as a way to confirm the diagnosis if biopsy was inconclusive. :)

Would you agree that vomiting once/twice a week in a well maintained long haired cat is abnormal, even if it’s the only symptom?

Never seen lymphoma in cats at all, but we had a multicentric lymphoma recently in a pug. Once we had mycosis fungoides too. Very interesting cases.

Varsha Scooby cat lymphoma is quite common. I’m sure you will see one
