People are so thirsty for God’s *things* but don’t want HIM. HE is our inheritance, our joy, our reward. This is how we can have joy in suffering. This is how we can trust his goodness even if he never heals us in this life. If what you are seeking is just things, you will always be thirsty, you will always be unsatisfied. HE should be what we seek after, and we can trust that he will meet our needs as he knows we need them. If he hasn’t given it, we don’t need it.

Thanks so much for this Dr. Evans. I really needed to hear this. I am 27 and from Cameroon, but studying in South Africa. God blessed me wonderfully by making it possible for me to study at a prestigious university with all my tuition paid and I think I need to acknowledge Him for this. I have not been witnessing or talking about Him and this great blessing as I ought and this sermon just made me realize that. My mom is sick in Cameroon and I am devastated that I cannot be with her,so I plead for your prayers for God to restore her health and for His name to be glorified in our lives. Praise Jesus!

Mike Bromeo I do agree that many preach a warped message of me me me in America today neglect the truths of obedience and service to our King. But from what I’ve heard over the years Dr. Evans isn’t one of them. He teaches obedience to God but he also teaches about blessings. We need ALL of God’s Word to stay balanced. I’m NOT a fan of people that only appeal to the flesh, but, the other side of the coin so to speak (for a lack of words) is God does bless His children. This message lines up with the Word of God for sure. God does expect supernatural Faith from us, He does expect us to fully trust Him when we can’t see through the storms. But the same God expects us to live Holy before Him also. My point is we ALL need balance. The Word of God and His Spirit will keep us balanced if we will yield to Him daily.

I've been listening to Dr. Tony Evan's teachings for years on the radio and they have really blessed me. First time seeing a KZbin video from him. I wondered, why aren't there any white people in the congregation? Now, maybe there are, but I didn't see any. My first thought was, "Why don't they let any white people in?" But then, my second thought was, "Maybe white people don't feel comfortable going to a church that has predominantly African American members." That is too bad. These people are our brothers and sisters in Christ, and if I lived in the Dallas area, I would be proud to have Tony as my pastor. And I bet I would be welcomed in gladly, even if I was the only white person there. Jesus Christ is the answer to racism. I am so looking forward to worshiping Jesus with people from every tribe and nation "on that day." Let us start practicing on earth what will happen in heaven!

I understand your sentiment :-). Yet, let us also consider that there might be several reasons why this Church maybe, as you suggest, predominantly 'African-American'. We gravitate to what we are culturally used to, what we have an affinity for, or even maybe what is closest to us in our neighbourhood - so white people who do not go to that church are not necessarily racist, but they probably go to another church. We can consider scenarios without the 'racism' factor being involved. I am involved in a global church context so I experience different church contexts. the English/Chinese Church here in Toronto has over 3000 members with 99% who are from the Chinese community because perhaps the Asian community can relate more. That area also has the largest population of Asians so that explains why there would be more Asians than other races attending that church. Currently, I am temporarily in a predominantly "white" community and I am the 1% Black in a Church where everyone is Caucasian. When I first got here I was the only Black person. There are more Black people here now, they probably just moved into the neighbourhood. When I first came I felt welcomed. It's a wonderful church, and perhaps it's just a super-white neighbourhood. Which explains why it's mostly white people. Before that, I lived in another city where the mega-church was made of predominantly Black-Canadian/Caribbean people. Only a few different races could be seen in that church. It was what you call a "Black church" within a predominantly black community. So it's beyond a 'racism' issue, we can always consider different contexts. Although I do understand that the situation in the U.S. in regards to race may be more tense than that of Canada... there are other cultural and contextual factors that may lead to a larger percentage of members of certain races attending a particular church/ making it their church home. Because I'm sure there are a lot of other white, indian or hispanic people who would ALSO love Dr. Tony as their pastor, :-) Nonetheless, I do, like you agree that there are still individuals from all races who need to drop their stereotypes and labels. I pray for a more UNIFIED church at large, in theology and in cultural diversity, that we may exemplify the True Kingdom of God. Peace and love, Brother.

I have seen white people in the videos when he has preached at his church. I am white; and I will be attending his conference this week with a family member. Tony Evans is the preacher I listen to the most, the one I watch on a consistent basis and has helped me grow more as a Christian than any other preacher.. GOD revealed his anger toward racism when he turned Miriam into a leper..

For years I have been praying for my daughter to get out of a relationship with a guy that is abusive , doesn’t work, a convicted felon, and the list goes on!! He is seven years older than her - he was 22 at the time they met!! I become so frustrated despite the fact it has been prophetically spoken to me from three different people- two using the same verse- that she will return to the Lord! I had my part- prayer and to believe. I wish I could say I was Faithful in that area. I became frustrated that I would not see change!! He was arrested in 2017 for a felon in possession of a firearm and shooting into an open vehicle. I thought wow!! There’s my breakthrough!! But he only received a year in jail!! You want to talk about disappointment and frustration with God??!!! Well only until I completely surrendered this to God and didn’t try to “control “ this , am I now seeing God’s Glory revealed!! My daughter has recently accepted Christ but this doesn’t end here. Her boyfriend is currently in jail and she still communicates with him! The Lord has told me the Battle isn’t over- it has just begun!! But I’m trusting God’s sovereignty. I don’t want to be like the Israelites wondering through the wilderness because of unbelief!! I believe God will do what He promises. I have been dealing with this for 13 years!! And they have a beautiful daughter! My daughter and granddaughter live with us and I take my granddaughter to church!! I encourage all of you despite what you see Trust the Lord❤️🙏

I had a boyfriend my Mother did not like when I was 15 I would not believe anything bad she said about him until I saw some literature listing controlling behaviours that were red flags because the information was not from my Mother I was willing to consider it. The list was something like tells you what to wear does not let you talk to your friends threatens your pets threatens suicide scares you on purpose etc. Maybe if you find some relationship literature and present it to her or have someone else present it to her she will consider it. Guys can be very manipulative and when women are young they are vulnerable abused women want to hope for the good in their abuser or save them sometimes so I hope you can help her before she gets hurt or trapped. She needs to go no contact.

Wow what an amazing message I was healed for a second time from a bleeding issue and now I see why I was healed not just for me and my faith in the lord but to share my testimony with many. What An amazing lord we serve that same Jesus who brought back the dead has healed me from molestation hate, suicide, anger, my bleeding of six years, and brokenness. Glory to you lord! Believing is seeing what an amazing way to breakthrough and see my blessings and help others to see it. Blessings and happy New Years to you all.

Wow . . . praise God! What an inspirational and anointed message! I really needed to hear this sermon. Thank you for being used by God! 😊💕 I'm one who desires to have a "peek" into my miracles, in order to "believe"; but I have it all wrong, for "believing is seeing". After all, if God unveils how He will have life unfold for me, it is no longer "faith", but revelation. With God, there's NOTHING that is too difficult. Hello? He created the Heavens and the Earth: ALL things seen and unseen! Yes, I cannot fathom how He can "fix" that which I have broken with my negative insecurities; but it's not for me to understand, but to simply trust, in He who calls me His beloved . . .
