I’m learning to not be of this world but of God. I just recently lost my “best friend” because of me deciding to give my like 100% to God. She called me naive and ungrateful and I cannot say those words didn’t hurt. I know that his will, will always be done and I have to continue to trust him. Trust that he will remove the people in my lives that will yield me for him. I realized that our friendship was very worldly and had a lot of sin. I pray morning and night that I will overcome this, have a peace of mind and have friends that are of faith. Amen!

Jesus radiates God’s glory: The one who owns the glory is the one who is God (Isaiah 42:8, 48:11). In John 7:16-18, Jesus speaks against all who seeks his own glory and tells us he seeks only the *_glory of him that sent him,_* which is the Father. Jesus warns us not to give God’s glory to him or anyone else, seeing how no one else has the glory but the Father alone and no liars will enter His kingdom. Those who give God’s glory to another, including giving it to Jesus, despise his own soul and are blaspheming against the only true God, the Father (John 17:3). God’s glory radiates through Jesus, just as it did many others like Moses, Samson, the apostles, and all who love and obey him. However, God will never give His glory to another. But if we are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, we will share in His glory together (Romans 8:17)
