I'm a R&B singer. It's not good to sing sitting down, or laying down because you can't breathe properly, and let out the notes without sort of pushing, especially if you're singing strongly, with alot of feeling.

Singers are TRULY talented people.. A singing voice is so much more unpredictable and unreliable than a speaking voice.... Rappers are talented too, but to rap, takes nowhere NEAR the talent level it takes to control a singing voice.. And for two of the group members to being singing WHILE LAYING DOWN, takes even more vocal control!! MUCH RESPECT TO THESE MEN!! They deserve EVERY album they sold!! AND MUCH MORE!

Also, on their 2nd album, Enter The Dru, if you listen to "Beauty", you'll hear him throughout the entire song. Not only did he write it, but he sang it solo originally because the other members didn't want to record it at first. After hearing his version, Sisqo and Jazz sang their parts over top of his vocals, but the chorus of it is ONLY Nokio...

William E. that’s great info! I’m going to check those songs out. I love Beauty. I don’t know any of their songs after the second album except for I love You. In a Dru Hill documentary a therapist (or whatever she was) made all of them sing individually because she was trying to prove a point. When Nokio sang she scolded him. She said he didn’t have passion. I think maybe he just wasn’t in the mood to sing at that time.
