We were only blessed with about 30 percent of Sisqo's talent and creativity. He was on a journey to give us 100, but the sick industry black balled him before he could even give us 50 percent. Let's appreciate his talent and creativity
@aysada8 ай бұрын
Why was he blackballed?
@golden31548 ай бұрын
@aysada they claimed he didn't play ball. He was putting on family members and friends, and the industry not like that
@aysada8 ай бұрын
@@golden3154 By putting on family members, do you mean that he was having the record label pay them as well? or that he was trying to promote their stuff? Sorry if it’s a stupid question.
@golden31548 ай бұрын
@aysada a question, regardless of how it sounds, it's never stupid when you're asking it to get a clarification. We'll, from what I understand, the major issue the label had with him was that he was featuring his cousins and friends and refused to work with the selected artists that the label wanted him to work with.
@aysada8 ай бұрын
@@golden3154 thanks. I had no idea about that. Record labels screwed TLC and Sisqo! And many others I’m sure. That’s unfortunate considering how permissive the labels are with artists now. Because Sisqo and his voice deserved better.

Eriq7001 If the song 'sucks,' then why did you search for, watch, & comment on it? I've never understood the 'logic' of people who decry something while adding to its popularity. Never mind the fact that I can list 10 late '90s r&b/rap remixes that are worse than this. And for the record, this remix was and still is hot, hence the majority of the other comments.
@Eriq700110 жыл бұрын
Aaron Degley The video and the remix are both garbage. I cannot tell what the video is about cause u see is Sisqo dancing around like he's in some underground club.

...You just described the majority of the video ('Taking place in some underground club'). Not to mention this is a by-the-numbers late-'90s remix of an R&B song with one of the hottest rappers out at the time (Ja Rule) rapping on it--What were you expecting, a cinematic triumph? Do yourself a favor and drop the pretentious act.

Crazy to think at one point Ja Rule was the hottest rapper on the planet and was sought after for features left, right and center. Then all of a sudden got cancelled out off the game. Not trying to diss the guy.

This song is best listened to turned ALL THE WAY UP. This is an older upload so looks like you can only get the louder volume with headphones. Turn this up in the car while cruising on the interstate = EPIC.

Unleash The Dragon was a classic in 1999 and 23 yrs later it's still classic...too bad he flamed out with Return of Dragon(which actually was pretty good) and also Dru Hill after 2003 but at least we got a few classics from them that will never get old ..imo at least
