Наши дорогие Харьковчане. А если без шуток, пам"ятаю як слухав іх йдучи вулицями рідного Старобільска після школи десь у середені теплого серпня, закріпивши свій Соні Ерікссон к320і на ремінець рюкзака, прям біля вуха. Щось там піщить, реве драматично в 64кбіт, оточуючі дивляться як на дурня, а мені той па ху ю. Навіть мєстних рєперів набухував троьма сімками в рощі або на Айдарових берегах. Ті слухали уважно с простраційнім поглядом, під градусом важко було розібрати чи то касання вселенької пустоти, чи то деганьскої. За тим, хрипким демонстративно низьким пиздючім голосом, від ватажка алкогольних неофітив було рев"ю з непрямою цитатою "ну прікольно, но шото нє моє, Денчік" - думка коллективна ставить крапку на Тарасових "Бо вас лихо на світ на сміх породило", і близьрічкова тиша з далеким вечірним щебетом птахів змінюється треком Гуфа

Неоцінене явище, домінація жлобства в повітрі присутня навіть в наш Героїчний Час. Тож хай промінь сучасного Епосу від Drudkh прорізає для збереження спогадів про про Дух Справжнього, що є рушієм процесів, в пітьмі реакції маси на процеси. How can one find the strength to create amidst such horrifying war bursting across the land? Ukrainian ppl never ceases to amaze me. I used to think of Ukraine as a far country, lost in the middle of the eastern block, only a former soviet republic and not as a european brother, despite knowing Ukraine is a european country. Boy was I wrong! I am sorry for thinking this way and that a catastrophy was needed to change my mind. I am sorry for all the devastation going on there, my thoughts and prayers go to all of you who are suffering. May this can become a past moment soon without ever forgetting, without ever forgiving! I don't know how one can listen to Drudkh and NOT get tears in their eyes. Yes, you can find more complex black metal songs, or more diverse in composition, but what you can't find in others bands music is this mix of emotions: unimaginable grief for lives that were taken away - not some fantasy ones but real, you can't find this untold longing for the past long gone and forgotten, but intertwined with this 'hopeless hope' for a better future. Especially if you're understand the Ukrainian lyrics (translation steals away the poetry), and yes - the vocals have this "strain", like utter desperation put into the scream, in all the right places. Hope i made some sense here)

Hallo. Muszę przyznać że ten album Drudkh jest naprawdę zajebisty. Dopieszczony melodyjnie i atmosferyczne. Że to tak ujmę. Riffy gitarowe siedzą na miejscu. I oprawa graficzna mi imponuje. Pomimo że jest typowa dla kapeli. Praktycznie wszystkie albumy są wspaniałe. Ale tego roku dokonali lepszego dzieła. Respektuje zespół za ich typowe UK granie. Podoba mi się... Pozdrawiam serdecznie wszystkich...🎸🤘🤘🤘🎸

This is their best album in my opinion. Nothing beats the sheer creativity and emotional grasp of this album. It all weaves perfectly, the last track in two movement is my favourite of their entire discography. The intertwinning elements of hope, despair, intensity, vindication and fatefull flow completes it perfectly. This album is a masterpiece.

"Till we become the haze" is the Best song of this album, pure, intimist and filled with wrath and anger. The album is definitly good, but it's a bit sad than all the song are made in the same way: trve part -> ambient/dark jazz part -> trve/ambient part. It made some song repetitives (Nocturnal One and November for example). But this aside, the album is really good and provide really intense and powerful sounds through all the 45 minutes of it !

Whilst the words of anguish and desperation only seek to drive you further into depths of your own darkness. The interludes lament the love you once had towards the light.
