It’s been about a year since I quit smoking weed. I was a baby Christian (still am lol). I smoked even though I didn’t even really like it (made me really paranoid). I just couldn’t give it up for some reason. But then I couldn’t take grieving the Holy Spirit anymore. Wow has my life changed. I am actually reading and studying the Word now. I am praying so much more. I am present. I don’t avoid my family to get high or bc I could smell like it. I don’t smoke before every sensory experience (eating, movies, etc) and try to bring vape pens into public places. There is nothing like being tethered to true reality (our God Almighty). It’s all I want. He is my relief.

Same for me. I watched my father battle drug addiction and go to prison so many times. I just knew I could never do it. But my husband battles with weed addiction. I'm praying he gets set free! He hasn't fully surrendered yet. But I won't stop praying!
