Because their kids and family members are junkies so they take it personally. Fentanyl is exposing how common drug use is in so called good communities. Parents aren't mad that their kids are on drugs they are just mad they are getting the wrong drug. They are cool with their kids using cocaine and heroin just not fentanyl

It's 5000% the dealers fault. "She knew he could've swapped it for poison" doesn't absolve him of anything. That's an insane take. If I stab you in the face, should I get off by saying, "They knew I might stab them in the face?" Use your brain.

It doesn’t make sense how drug dealers get longer sentences than sexual assault or harassment people. Like there’s more drug dealers out there, and you probably can’t stop it. Also you can’t get mad at them for not wanting to listen when you’re charging them for LIFE. Like you would be happy if you got sentenced to life?????

Who cares about respecting the judge the judge is sitting a top mediating over a system that is flawed these alphabet law enforcement groups allowed drugs to be brought over a loud cartels to slain these drugs into the borders of America in onto the streets where young kids and young adults can really get these things and then all of a sudden a judge sentences a person who sells these things illicitly on the street when in fact it is the system of America that allows us to be sold in the first place why don't they just do like a lot of countries and just have a red light district and tax the hell out of the drugs and the drug dealers just putting the money back into schools and education and infrastructure into America all of this stuff is basically a big forest and a big sham is this way because High conviction rates fuel the prison industry it's all about getting money money

Lost one of my best friends to fentanyl. He was not on the right tracks in and out of prison. But he was out, he had a girlfriend, he was about to start a new job which was hard to do as a felon. The night before his first day at the job he wanted to get high one last time, and that was the last time. I got the call from his cousin the next day “We found Devin’s body in his room.” There was no funeral for him. But he was cremated and his ashes were spread where he and his dad went fishing. I also went fishing there with him. Don’t have sympathy for these scumbags.

Regarding the man whom the prosecution said was getting "800 pills a month) of morphine, from Saginaw, and bringing it back to where he was being charged with selling them. "800 pills" does not tell how how much morphine the prosecutor is talking about. Morphine pill vary in the quantity of morphine they contain. We don't know if each pill had 5 mg each, or 100 mg each. 100 is 20 times as much as 5. We don't know if those 800 pills contained 4 grams of morphine or 80 grams. 4 grams would about the amount that a single "recreational" user might go through in about 8 days. 80 grams would last them 160 days, or 5 months and 10 days. If you are unwilling to do the basic arithmetic than I think that whatever you say is not fact, but is mere theatre, melodrama.

I agree. The US has thousands of people in prison on 5 year sentences just for procession. Drug addicts not "Drug Lords". Yet people who caught shop lifting or burgling somebodies house are released the next day with a slap on the wrist. Child SAs should be sentenced in line with attempted murder. 20 year minimum.

Doctors should be held accountable for their role in the opioid crisis in this country. Instead of refusing to proliferate highly addictive & deadly controlled substances they accepted the bribes from pharmaceutical salespeople in order to prop up the image & lifestyle expected of a medical professional. The pharmaceutical companies knew there was a price to pay at some point but 3-5 billion in profits compared to a 1-2 billion lawsuit is a win-win. Pharmacies are more prominent on street corners than drug dealers. They’re part of the conspiracy because they are the distributors. RICO Law applies to the healthcare industry but everyone respects that form of manufacturing deadly drugs, delivering them to the market, & proliferating the drugs throughout the nation. White people do dirt the right way. Clean.

Definitely not low level. He was obviously dealing with the cartel and they would not sell or front any low level dude that much weight. Obviously the Cartels get the big money but these dudes were definitely not “low level” dealers. Dude you know how much violence comes along with dealing with that much weight. People die when organizations are dealing that much. There’s always people who don’t pay, when corners have to be taken over or when people refuse to sell that organization’s drugs.
