MashAllah, I’m glad to see the podcast doing well. Just a polite thought; most of your guests are from a very particular demographic. Although it is interesting to hear of their experiences and thoughts, you are often conversing with them regarding topics and events that I assume people outside of that demographic, such as myself, have no relation to and hence cannot understand. It almost feels as if the podcast is a private conversation that I seem to be eavesdropping on. It would be great to see enhanced diversity in your guest list so that the listeners of this great podcast can benefit from a multitude of varied experiences.

JazakAllah for your efforts and your organising harakah - may Allah reward you for your efforts. As much as the discussion about women may have been well-intentioned, many of the comments sounded quite offensive to women in the community, such as "name me 5 speakers", "they want it ready for them" etc, with complete disregard for the potential for women speakers to be present, but not public on social media platforms that are accessible to all, that society and communities themselves (an eg is the attitude of some of the guests in this episode which is more than discouraging/undermining/unsupportive to women) may be a reason in itself why there is a shortage for female speakers, that there is a whole load of family/childbearing etc responsibilities that women hold that have not even been mentioned in this podcast or accounted for. Even if you didn't have a female speaker in the group, would have been helpful to reflect on struggles of women you know from families etc and giving them a voice, rather than having an all-male panel merely assessing whether women have enough "passion" will be able to "go through alot like we do" to run a similar initiative.

Asalaamu Alaykum WarahmatuAllah Wabaraktu how are you guys? I think this was an interesting podcast and valid points were made from all sides. It looks like the organization is young but the founders are intelligent old souls who aim to bring peace, goodness, and love into the world through the Legacy of Imam Hussein Alayhis Salaam. Much kudos and credits fo them for taking time from their busy lives to volunteer for such a program that not only benefit the world but their own souls. May Allah be pleased with them. I look forward to the start of something great with Haraka Zaynabiya inshaAllah. They can fun parallel programs side-by-side to be inclusive to both genders. Ofcourse the sister’s side should be lead by sisters. Broad topics can be touched through parallel programs and specific gender related topics can be addressed through separate means and break downs. May Allah bless you all support all that you do inshaAllah. 🤲🏻🕋🕌.

Asalamalekum dear brothers. May Allah (s.w.t) reward you and young men and women like you who dedicate themselves for the sake of Islam and what Islam stands for. As a member of a youth movement in Sweden I can relate to many of the challenges you have mentioned in this very inspiring and entertaining episode of progeny podcast. Please do not forget us in your prayers.

How women are oppressed by not sitting in front of the speaker I don’t agree with it as a woman I would prefer to sit separately to listen to a majlis

What gives these four privileged boys the right to question (and minimise!) Shia women’s efforts?! The fact that the guests were given free rein to air their uninformed, belittling, and misogynistic views is deeply distressing. The mocking laughter and snarky chuckles didn’t go unnoticed either. My friends and I will no longer be tuning in to the progeny podcast. And might I suggest a change of name too, the word ‘progeny’ doesn’t seem quite suited to a podcast that airs such demeaning, shameful, cringeworthy viewpoints. We turn to our Imam (may Allah hasten his reappearance) for solace, help, and guidance - these men have made it pretty clear we shouldn’t expect any support or encouragement from them.
