Pro tip: if you’re a side sleeper and get a new ear piercing, use a travel neck pillow! Stick the affected ear through the neck hole! You can place it on top of your current pillow(s) and you’ll be comfortable sleeping and not irritate your new piercing! I have 6 piercings on both ears and this hack helps me every time! 💕

I gotta say, I appreciate when you're honest and I don't think it comes off as harsh at all. You simply don't sugarcoat it when makeup doesn't work out and tell it like it is. You know your skin and its concerns, you're knowledgeable and you know what you want from makeup and anything that falls short of that isn't worth any more of your time. With so many makeup products on the market, I think it's everyone's goal to find the best of the best and avoid all the clutter. Keep doing what you're doing.

I love the fact that you’re not always “happy happy happy” all of the time about products. It’s not negativity!!! People who are telling you to be “more positive “ have the chance to go watch other channels where the reviewers are not as honest and are more pandering to makeup companies. Regarding the piercing where your ear cuff is, the pain of getting it isn't bad at all, but sleeping on top of it is what eventually made me take mine out. It's the part of my head that puts the most pressure on the pillow and i used to wake up with an irritated, sore ear simply from sleeping on it.
@yuitachibana61452 жыл бұрын
Ear piercing; DEFINITELY DO NOT USE A GUN OR CARTRIDGE! I got my flat and helix done on both sides on the same day and it was a total mistake, don’t get too many at once. And pick a side you know you don’t need to sleep on. Also, find a piercer with jewelry you like, you’ll be wearing it for over a year without getting to change it if it’s cartilage. I recommend Maria Tash!! Love you Tati!!

@@wildmaknae_ most piercers will recommend 6 weeks for a regular lobe piercing before changing, and 6 months for a cartilage piercing. It’s not about whether you can change it before then, it’s about whether you should. Initial healing can be shorter but full healing takes longer. It needs time to rest and not have stress from changing jewellery that is potentially the wrong size etc.

I'm a pierced-up weirdo, so here's what you absolutely have to know: look at a lot of pics online, know the names, and decide which one you like best so you take that info to your piercing pro. only go to a piercer, not a Claire's or anywhere like that. If they pull out a gun or anything with a cartridge, run. Make sure they give you aftercare instructions. I use warm water with sea salt mixed in to help with faster healing. If you're a side sleeper, take a sock (maybe stick the mate inside so it's a little roll) and form it into a donut shape and just put your head on that. You don't need a huge neck pillow or anything, just a little bit of extra elevation to take the pressure off. Warm water and salt 2x a day or any time it feels a little itchy or irritated. Any yellow grossness means infection, and you can start with neosporin but you might need oral antibiotics if it gets bad.
@mandisalmon-warr92812 жыл бұрын
Do u have nose piercing?
@emmaef32302 жыл бұрын
Only thing I would disagree with is applying Neosporin to an infected piercing. Piercings are obviously a puncture wound and neosporin isn’t intended for puncture wounds and can often times prevent oxygen from getting to the wound and trap any harmful bacteria inside the puncture. People do it and have success, as with anything potentially dangerous, but I would never self diagnose a cartilage infection and self treat with neosporin. Talk to a piercing professional to assess if it’s infection or irritation and then seek out a medical profession if needed for oral antibiotics.

Hi Tati, i'm kinda new to wearing ear cuffs but i've been struggling with them too. I've found that i need to lower it quite a bit and tuck it in towards the middle part of the ear for it to become comfortable. If it's just pinching those few milimeters on the sides (the helix) it's terribly painful and also has a high risk of falling off and getting lost. If your cuff's big enough for that you need to lower it a bit and put it more inward so that it hugs the antihelix part of the ear. Yeah it's quite lower but it's at least comfortable enough to wear all day :)

For the ear piercing topic: test out placement with rhinestone stickers or dots of eyeliner to get the spacing how you want it and test the look. I stopped wearing all mine (a pair on each ear, one high and the other more in the middle) because I was on the phone all the time for work and it was obnoxious mushing in behind my ear. Now if I try to wear them it hurts sleeping on them, and my hair gets tangled in the backs (or even pulls them off) when I tuck my hair behind my ear. I use to love them, but now I like the classic single pair of nice earrings and a matching "jewelry outfit" as I call it. The pair up on my helix damaged the cartilage and has stayed a bit swollen and is thicker than the other ear. Not by much, but definitely scarred. Piercings do not magically vanish when the jewelry is taken out, they definitely leave scars (which I wish I'd been told beforehand). I did love them in my rebellious teens to early 20s though!

Ear piercing response! 1. Yes, get it done!! I didn't find them too painful at all, you just don't want to sleep on that side for the first couple days. 2. I recommend going to a professional piercer that will use the appropriate sterile needle and jewelry. *For reference, I have one piercing where you wear a cuff, and 2 side by side on the other ear high up on the cartilage. I've had them for years with no issues, bumps, etc. I keep little hoops in them 24/7!

Regarding the bronzer being “dark” for medium… a reminder that you exist on the lighter side of the spectrum of folx who exist in the world, so it’s honestly refreshing to see darker bronzers like that exist. Maybe not the right shade for you, but as a brown girl, it’s nice to see darker products offered at the drugstore that don’t only cater to one type of person!
@kristenlandon7962 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same thing. I’m even fairer than she is and, in my opinion, that can easily be considered a “medium” bronzer shade; especially with the broad shade ranges that are out there today, catering to deeper skin tones like they should. Also it doesn’t hurt to- if you have a darker more pigmented bronzer or blush- to dab/wipe the excess on the back of your hand before bringing that product-loaded brush to your cheeks, if ya know what I mean. I’m kinda surprised she didn’t think of that. 🤷♀️

Tati: I look slightly dirty, but it’s gonna be fine. Me:😂🤣😂🤣 If anyone can rock a “dirty” face and make it look good, it’s Tati.

@Tati I have an industrial piercing and I got the bar first time around so a long needle made the 2 holes. Also single in cartilage of ear on other side. It was done fast and very little pain. Considering the pain you have dealt with medically. Just can't really sleep on that side of your head. But soft pillow was still comfy for me.

Your channel is not negative , whoever said that comment you must understand, as viewers , positive to negative, is a relative measurement based on our views, less on your content (no matter what that comment said). There is SO MUCH makeup out there, there is too much, the last thing we need is an open ended “eh maybe kinda nice?” That will appease one guilty viewer who has misplaced feelings they’ve decided to take out onto your channel. I’ve been watching you for years, please do not listen to that comment. Your positivity comes from YOU, not how you review. We need honesty. And with that, I hope you see allowing that comment to reshape your channel and how you review makeup and present your content, only makes it look inauthentic and confusing. We love you. Stay you Tati 💕

Urgh I tested the maybelline 4 in 1 foundation thing and had the exact same throw back 😂😂 I filmed it on my channel on my really dry skin, and I haven’t worn it since it was AWFUL 😂

Your honest reviews are always so balanced... never stop, please!!! You always go the extra mile to mention products you like from the brand whenever you find something that doesn't work for you... who could complain about your approach??

If everyone on KZbin tells me “Oh ya buy this chunky highlighter” and it’s not good, I would be more pissed than getting straight up honest (negative) review.

I think the piercing you’re looking for is the conch. I want that one too. The rings are soo beautiful but i hear it’s good to start with a stud then switch to a ring when it’s healed. I’m getting that one next or the helix. I’ve got a curated right ear. I have my rook and daith and love them both but they’ve been taking a while to heal and i have three lobe piercings. I would say if you’re a side sleeper get one ear at a time and take your time with it. Cartlidge can take months to heal soo choose your jewelry wisely. The piercing doesn’t hurt it’s the healing part that’s annoying. Other than that enjoy decorating your ears.
