you can go in front of the ice pillars in the first phase if the ice pillar its close to the dragon, because when you are close he push you, and long range you take damage for the spitted ice, but if you get out of the spitted ice in front of a pillar you avoid damage and his push

@@easygoinnn i dont know, some time ago, it was 330 move speed, know iven with the move speed perk i get around 300 move speed without agility build

I already knew how to do it, so trying after rat nerf took me 2 attempts, but to kill the dragon the first time ever i dont know, it was a lot of attempts, to discover that you can dodge with rat form it took a long time

@@xra2246 I am using cat skin, 304 move speed 13 str, 16 dex, no need in most cases to rat, but still making mistakes, but got to 2nd stage, very frustrating boss fight ))) and the waiting time in cavern too ))

@@Jakems7 when i was trying to learn this boss i tried without the rat, but sometimes work and sometimes dont, the only way that i could kill the dragon consistently is with rat form, so thats why i use rat form every time

@@xra2246 I had over 40 attempts or so, not getting better ))) I tried also 124 gs with blue spear and more stats, didn't help much

@@Jakems7 i think you probably are dying for his jump, because it's the hardest part, When I was learning it took me a while to understand but his body has a delay to move, so if you change the direction that you are moving before he looks at you he jumps where you are going instead of where you at, so try to not change the direction you are going, if you need to change then wait for him to look at you first
