I love the idea of connecting a druid to the Earth as their source of power. Especially if it has to do with the sacred sites and Groves.

It works very well with a shamanistic religion that ties into spirits or even animism as well

@@JustInTimeWorlds I have a race based on Indian mythologies that are called the Yakshas who travel to specific groves to heal and replenish herbs for use on journeys but also to collect metagenetic information that improves their perspective until they achieve a fabled state of enlightenment. It becomes a pilgrimage of sorts that must go on and only some discover the secret before transcending their body and becoming one with nature.

I love them too. One of the reasons I have reincarnation in my world is because of druids. I really like their reincarnation myths so I drew quite heavily on it.
