The Drukhari (pronounced Druh-KAR-ee) or "Dark Ones" in the Aeldari Lexicon, also known to outsiders as the Dark Eldar, are a forsaken and corrupt Aeldari kindred, the sadistic, malicious counterparts of the Asuryani. Like their cousins of the craftworlds, the Drukhari are an ancient and highly advanced alien race of fey humanoids.
A Kabal of the Drukhari is an autonomous military organisation that exists somewhere in the gray zone between a criminal cartel, a pirate fraternity and a noble household for that sadistic Aeldari kindred.
The Haemonculi, the Lords of Pain, are horrific and insane Drukhari flesh-sculptors who have lived within the depths of Commorragh for many Terran centuries, if not millennia.
The Wych Cults or Hekatarii of Commorragh are second in prestige in Drukhari society only to the Kabals that sponsor them.

Fun fact about Malys. A LOT of early 40k characters in the eldar are based on the high elves and dark elfs of warhammer fantasy. Cause 40k was basically space fantasy early on. Malus Darkblade is a dark elf from Warhammer fantasy who is possessed by a demon named Tz'arkan and is regularly found fighting against himself for control of his own body. Malys is basically the 40k version of him, or rather, started as that. In actuallity she battled an entity found deep in the webway and defeated it, taking it's sword and a crystal heart. She replaced her own heart with the crystal, and became DIRECTLY tied to Cegorach, the laughing god. So who she's talking to in private all the time, is Cegorach himself. This is found in the Harlequen codex in 7th ed.

my favorite story for the Homunculi that may be non-canon now, I heard from Baldemort, Basically the coven of the dark creed (i think) were attacking a world that was in constant terror, and were just having a ball but eventually the Raven Guard came and were able to "kill" the main Homunculi, which really pissed him off so he went and ambushed the marines and during the battle he tasted some of the Raven Guard gene-seed and immediately tasted an impurity in it, he then switched tactics to kidnap some of the marines rather than kill, which he was able to get a fair amount of. eventually the Raven guard counter attacked to get their brethren back and once they found them, nothing seemed wrong so they just looked over them and made sure they were still battle worthy then left, of course over time the gene-seed was passed down from these marines to the next batch of recruits and after several hundred years or so, the plan of the Haemonculi was truly shown, when an entire batch of Raven Guard aspirants turned into horrible mutated beasts

@@PatienceKiss No, Space Marine have 2 geneseeds inside of them, one in the neck and one somewhere in the chest. So provided that the infected space marine didn't die, they passed off 2 infected geneseeds which multiplied as more space marine were created with the infected geneseed inside of them.

Each marine is implanted with 1 genesede, and then it grows a progeniter gland(creating a second), so when a marine dies you can harvest 2 genesede from them, thus making 2 more marines. So just 1 recovered marine could create 32 marines after 5 generations of each marine dying and having both genesedes recovered. The issue is recovery lol, you need an apothecary on hand, salvageable genesede AND a body that you can recover to harvest.
