favorite old rule of all time was 4th ed rending six to hit was auto wound with no amour save and against vehicle gave you an extra d6 for armour pen which basically meant that vehicle was taking a penetrating hit! those were the good old days for nids!

I'd never heard of Highlander but it's great! I do prefer older edition list building where varied lists often had CP advantages etc. Spam can get gross

Yeah, it’s a great way to play the game instead of worrying too much about efficiency, although highlander is not balanced either … as certain armies like guard can take all the different leman russes for example …

I'm so happy transhuman physiology style rules are gone (can only be wounded/hit on a 4+). I used to play a lot of Custodes, and when your faction relies on hitting and wounding on 2's it really hurts

Why did you not charge a unit with fight first? Wont you get fight first from charging and you opponent activating after you because it is your turn?

No thats changed a good while back. The player which turn it is not activates first in both fight first and normal.

​@jonathanmiller5387 unrelated to skari but my buddy and I play at 1500. Still get a nice variety of models and armies but forces some decisions and as we already play pretty slowly it helps to get things moving.
