I'm 60 yrs old, playing drums since age 6, listening to Chicago since age 9, and I hope you don't mind that I just took a drum lesson from watching you son. My only problem has been too many hobbies and became an engineer instead of a drummer. Great ear and real talent Tate! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the kind words, Ed! The important thing is that you are still having fun while playing and learning. Something I admire in all fellow drummers!

Going on 67 next week ... same deal pretty much. Distractions, but it's great to see someone so good on the skins. Just found Tate yesterday while scrambling KZbin. He's so good. If I ever retire, I'll finally develop my left food. :) Good on you too, Ed.

Another great job. Wish you were around 40 years ago when we had our Chicago cover band called "Beginnings" in Miami! But believe me, you don't want to be that old now. Keep playing and putting out these videos!!!! Thanks!!!!

Spot on buddy. Would love to learn this but Iam too slow to bash out them fills and work around the kit so effortlessly. Many thanks for showing how it should be done.

Well done! Quick question, any KZbin video suggestions on learning those fills?
@tate_berkey Жыл бұрын
Thanks Thomas! I can’t say I’ve ever seen any videos of anyone explaining the fills in this song. I would love to do one at some point when I have the time. For the time being I’d suggest just trying to find a video or two of the playing it to see if you can catch some of Danny’s stickings!
