Best videos on Reaper, hands down. No blabla and always right to the point. Keep up the good work.

Kenny, on REAPER 5.26 x64, I don't see the horizontal lines of your video.

Great video. I have some sound glitches with this process, I tried a lot of solutions I found on forums but nothing seem to work... if anyone have some clues (specific to multiple tracks drums) Thanks a lot

Thank you fot anoyher great video!!! Please, is that possible to convert markers to MIDI event (notes, for example)???? I am trying to put marker on audio drum loop to slice it and hope to find a way to use the marker like a note event. I know we could use Dybanuc Slicer but this process finds transients cutting a lot of its start. So, if I add 2 or 3 millisends to avoid that, I can get the drums hits correctly, but the MIDI markers don't move with the 2 milliseconds I've added to each slice start point... So, I end with good weel sliced drum loop parts but all with 2 or 3 milliseconds delay to the song tempo... I was wondering if there's a solution for that...

Super useful thanks! I've been successful by editing without stretch markers (don't like the idea of degraded sound quality) but if the drum hits are too close to each other (EG a snare roll or blast beat) then stretch markers are a great way to easily shift without having gaps which can't be easily cross faded (next/previous drum hits are too close and there is no 'space' to use). Thanks Kenny!

That option for "selecting one item" doesnt exist anymore?
@MrKeyrocker8 жыл бұрын
Excellent Tutorials , a big thank you. I've learnt so much from you. I've been testing this and I found that you don't have to copy the kick track. You can select multiple tracks (kick and snare in this example) and then do the dynamic split

Is there a way to reset all Stretch markers Slopes to FLAT on an item? Or even just a on specific Stretch marker point? Thanks

Awesome video man, the drummer in my band hates playing with a metronome, and we fix his tracks applying what we´ve learned from your videos. Cheers from Argentina!

Sounds like you should fix the tracks by getting a new drummer!

That was the Default. You can change it obviously.

is there a option to "groove" quantize or 50% quantize strechmarkers? for situations where 100% quantize is too much.

Nice video!!!!! Let me make a suggestion: How to create a drum sequence with intro, fills, mains (A, B, C) using actions and markers or regions on Reaper. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!

The kick trick @ 06:00 didn't work for me... at least not on the kick track itself, the snare detection points weren't added in the kick track... Am I doing something wrong here?

Do you have a tutorial on how to quantize drums using dynamic split with crossfades? That would be awesome. You could solve some mysteries for me there.

stretch markers degrade sound quality alot. drums will loose thier punch and definition.
