As a kid I loved Blondie,Debbie ( obviously) and Clem,so as a young drummer I'd noticed Clem sometimes leading with the left and now I know why. Cool!!!

Wow. I noticed him leading with his left on Blondie songs, and was thinking that was just how Ringo Starr did it. It make sense that he’s left handed. It is interesting that it is more comfortable for him to lead with his left and end on a paradiddle than it is to just lead with his right. In any case, it leads to some interesting phrasing, and it makes his playing distinctive.
