Drum Mower and Tedder Final Use of 2024

Howdy Folks! Welcome to 8th Day Chronicles! THANK YOU for dropping by the farm with us today as we make our ~final~ cut of hay for the 2024 hay season! Its been a wild year of weather for making premium-quality hay here in our area of western NC! Tough decisions made about when to cut, tedder, bale, all that fun stuff, while experiencing ups and downs of too much rain to bone dry, to again w-a-y too much rain. But now our final harvest of hay for 2024 is in full swing! Come along on the journey with us! May God richly bless you and your family!

Thank you! Ive had a chainsaw in my hands almost daily for weeks now. I've got enough timber down to keep me busy for at least a year. Plenty of campfire wood! Some areas are still in bad shape and will be for a long time, other areas recovering much faster. Anywhere along bodies of water (larger creeks and rivers), the devastation was MUCH worse. You guys are great! Thanks so much!
