Drum Sander Homemade- Frame and Lifting Table

I used my old drum sander and improved it with a lifting table with 4 threaded rods and 5 sprockets. It has a great advantage over the old system, because it allows to put trawls, which I will apply at a later stage.

Very nice. I would recommend placing a double nut on 1 of the threaded rods without the hand wheel. This would allow you to use a drill and socket to make course adjustments in height.

Hi, I like your idea of gears for the height adjustment! What are trawls? The bike chain and 4 small gears is ok but something I can make in wood suits me better. Thanks for your video!
