I've listened to that concert on road trips more than I can remember. My favorite performance they have out there. By the time it's over and you come back to reality, you're halfway through the drive. Definitely better when I'm driving alone though. People don't seem to agree with me on zeppelin radio volumes😅.

Underrated song. Understandably considering some of the classics on Led Zeppelin 2 but this is still an amazing song. What a band

This song goes from classic blues to hard rock and back, so great. It’s like they took music from one bygone era and smacked you in the head by instantly making it modern and then back. Definitely an under appreciated gem. There’s a great live version from the Royal Albert Hall in 1970 for Page’s birthday bash, check it out. Thanks for the great week!

From LZ1 you can see how the band has evolved (including Bonham's playing) and developing their own sound. I love the rawness of it and apparently they recorded many of the songs whilst on the road touring and it has that "feel" about it.

Wild how after a couple years of listening to Zeppelin, there are still some gems of theirs you’re hearing for the first time!… Bring It On Home is one of my all-time favorites and some of the most amazing Jimmy Page tone I’ve ever heard! The sound of those ripping chords underneath the vocals blows my mind every time I hear it. And, of course, a great riff and great playing by the whole band!… Now that you’ve heard the whole album I hope you treat yourself to a road trip and crank it up beginning to end nonstop. 😊

Those who like to compare Led Zeppelin with Deep Purple and come up Purple never understand that Zeppelin was not a heavy metal or hard rock band. Zeppelin was a band who could play any style of music that took their fancy and play it sublimely. There were the hard rock classics but there was also blues and folk and prog rock and reggae and rock and roll and music that crossed more than one genre. Not every member of the band needed to be on every track. Led Zeppelin was not a prisoner to a sound and that is why they continue to fascinate music lovers of all generations.

One of my favorite Zeppelin songs. I love how they cover the Sonny Boy Williamson original at the beginning and end of the song and add some classic Zeppelin in the middle.

Another great example of dynamics but, we wouldn't expect anything less from Zep. The middle part is thick, meaty, and gives something to sink your teeth into before gently pulling back, leaving you wanting more. They would, as usual, improvise a lot during a concert, and as @eatthisvr6 mentioned, the live from Royal Albert Hall is explosive and showcases some of the improvisation. What to do next? Why, Led Zeppelin III, of course!!

Bonzo’s (and probably the bands) most consistent work happens on presence. HOFN, FYL, RO and ALS are fierce, innovative and groovy. Everyone gravitates to LZI or LZII, but Physical Graffiti and Presence is where the drumming and rhythm section magic happens. Please review these next.

Love your reactions, to Zep and others. I always tell up-n-coming Zep reaction folks (like if it's their first or 2nd Zep reaction they've done) that not only will they most likely enjoy the music, but the YT algos will work their magic and bring lots of euyes to their Zeppelin reactions, and it sounded like that happened some with you, lol!

You should check the live version from royal Albert hall 1970. Video great quality it’s awesome version extended call and response funky in parts too . Keep up the good work give your other fans a break then on to Zeppelin 3. Please I’m not a drummer myself but a guitarist and seeing you smile and getting in to it reminds me of me some 45 years ago when I discovered Zeppelin, before that I was a pop top 40 guy then the 50 s then Beatles then the mighty Zeppelin. Cheers mate

Good morning from snowy New England...I hope there's more analysis type vids coming... I'm not sure if Drumeo has the AIC catalogue but I'd like to see a breakdown of Sean Kinney's playing especially on the DIRT album and of course a serious breakdown of any Mario Duplantier would go a long way Thx Andrew 🧐🤘✌️

You're not doing that song justice till you've done the Blueberry Hill live version... kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5DJoamte62pe7ssi=Za0t0q2HdoAyOWL9 Unless you want to WATCH Bonzo wail out on it, then watch the Royal Albert Hall version: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4mYqpumhJpld6Msi=eLLKAyVWTdsBloQE Of course, you can't really go wrong with the Bath version: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pGq6dqSNmJxnh7Msi=_EgXhvleWUL1rtld ...or the How the West was Won version: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bF6Xi3ymjJ18aqMsi=doZwG6GJRY_UgetW I've read somewhere by a roadie who was there that the most epitome of the '73 Madison Square Gardens shows was a rousing rendition of BIOH because the audience recognized it and stomped to the extent that he thought the old building was going to come down, but I've never found a recording of that.
