Don’t know if you noticed on the video on the foot cam, but even at the slower steady double bass licks he was using double strokes for most the entire song, first one ive ever seen do doubles at a speed in which it’s easier to do single strokes

I enjoy this type of music. That being said, some drummers for this type of music just play fast and its very dull. I love this drummer and the drummer for Lorna Shore. They use the fills as well as cymbal work on top of the double bass and blast beats. Love it.

Vinnie Paul used to play custom sticks that had no tips at all rather than play regular sticks upside down. He wasn't the most technical drummer but damn did he hit hard.

There's nothing to react to as far as i know (no quality live shows on youtube or playthroughs), but in your own time i definitely recommend checking out the first couple of albums. He's a unique player. The band is basically designed to allow him to show off the whole time.

I've got an extreme drummer that I don't think you've done yet, and he's one of the most influential out there: Derek Roddy. He's best known for his work with Hate Eternal and Nile, but these days he mostly does clinic work if I remember correctly. He's also one of the most down to earth, reasonable, no-bullshit musicians I've ever had the pleasure of speaking with.

It's american thing. They read them always: Track title - Artist/Band So if it's "Slaughter to Prevail - Demolisher" for them it's always Slaughter to Prevail by Demolisher.

I agree with his drumming is like the Olympics. To get to my fastest double kick speed it too me 2 years of 3 hr days drumming that I even got to master the swivel technique to match my speed. And if you had a few days off you could feel then strain of trying to keep up.

STP is the band. 'Demolisher' is the song name. Fun fact: Evgeny plays with the sticks upside down so he's actually holding the heads of the sticks and the butts of the sticks are the ones actually hitting the heads
