We did No One Higher a few weeks ago and I was super happy that we did a bridge cut. I really like how different drummers handle bridge cuts. Like how yours and mine both sound great and fit in perfectly to the song but everybody has their own style. It’s great to be UPCI brothers with a great godly talent like you.

Great job Bro, you’ve really improved with your video quality and this channel it self! I’ve been drumming for my church since the end of August, since our main drummer moved to Texas with his beautiful wife and it’s been such a journey in a race to become the drummer my church needs! I want to thank you for your videos and for the tips you’ve shared on your videos. They’ve really improved my drumming; and I know there is room for improvement every time! So thanks Daniel have a great day.

how do u sound like the original? espcially the keyboard and guitar riffs? can u give us any idea? what software are u guys using?
@DanielBernard7 жыл бұрын
We use stems, so for many of the songs we have the original album stems and we'll leave some aux keys parts, horns, percussion, etc. in the track to help fatten it up.

What do you use for tracks? And how do you do it? I'm a drummer at my church and we've been interested in doing tracks for a while but we have just not found the right program yet.
@DanielBernard7 жыл бұрын
Ableton is the standard! Multitracks.com has many artists original stems and they're all in Ableton format. You can also download mp3s but if you're looking for a tracks program, Ableton Live is it!

Ok. Thanks man I really appreciate the response.

Just came across your videos. Really dig the quality and "cool" color vibe. What do you do for color correction? Not to mention, the ending clip shot w/ your iPhone could pass as a dslr!
@DanielBernard7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! I do some color correcting in FCPX and then I also use a LUT at about 30 percent opacity to help even everything out a little more.

Hey Daniel how did you set your playlist in order on the iPad? Do they come automatically ? Are they tracks ?
@DanielBernard7 жыл бұрын
We use Planning Center Online. It's a scheduling/service planning/accounting (basically all in one) church software!

Hey Daniel, first of all I want to say I’m loving all the videos your putting out man! The songs, the drum grooves/ideas, gospel fills, drum vlogs, etc. they are all awesome! I watch every single one and I watch some of them more than once. They are helpful, beneficial, and they inspire me a lot. So I would just like to say thanks so much man and keep up the good work!...Ok, now to my question lol I play drums at my church and we have been slowly incorporating tracks into our live music by using loop community. And It has been working great for us so far . But I was looking at tracks on the website yesterday and noticed that you had uploaded a live track previously for the song “You Are Good”. I was just wondering if this is the only song you have uploaded? If so is this a one time thing? Does your church use this? Are you planning or would you be willing to upload other songs on the website? Thanks again!

Thanks, man, really appreciate that! lol, I forgot I posted that honestly. We get most of our tracks from multitracks.com, and if they don't have them we make our own. There are tons of tracks on that site and loopcommunity.com as well.
