I thought it was a leading question, but I'll still play. British Isles Protestant victory = British Isles Papist defeat - although your pope benefitted closer to home. Henry VIII was born a pape and died a pape, despite being the head of The Church of England. As for King Willy, (aka King Dong), post battle of the boyne, he prevented his troops from heading south and routing Ireland, so don't hate him - he had the vision to state that papes and Protestants could live in harmony, which is absolutely the case.

What do you mean prevented troops from heading south? The boyne river is in the 'south'. King Henry VIII broke away from the vatican and died head of the Anglican church. He was an inspiration for Martin Luther.

Neither popes supplied King Billy with troops. Historically, he was even wary of taking English and Scottish troops into battle, (being previous subjects of papish king james), so why would he accept troops from Rome that he didn't even need? And although those in Rome that drank blood and ate human flesh did celebrate William's victory in 1690, their descendants don't celebrate it now so it's hardly the "papal tradition" you claim.
