For classic DrumMania it depends on what version you're playing it on. In older versions, while on the song select screen, you just need to step on the bass pedal twice to change the Hi-Speed by small increments. If you somehow went over your preferred Hi-Speed just keep increasing the Hi-Speed and it'll reset itself back to x1.0. In newer versions, while on the song select screen, you just need to step on the bass pedal twice and a play style menu will pop up. From there you can manually set your preferred Hi-Speed using the drum pads or pressing the buttons on the side of the machine. If you find the speed is too much or too slow during gameplay you can press and hold the Start button (the rectangle button) on the side of the machine and either press the Right or Left button to change the Hi-Speed on the fly. Yes, I know it's 5 years too late, but never hurts to share information. XD
