they get alot of views and most liked because bts helped so many people what they were going through with life especially people with depression as well they have saved so many with their music and lyrics as well they even tell a story to. its not basic at all this has alot of views so it means people love it. he poured his heart and soul out in this album face and to be honest you gotta understand what he went through during the pandemic like it was not easy for any of them but for jimin it wasnt good he was depressed. there is a explination to this song to.

This is Jimin's story so the music and dancing is at odds in places to continue the discourse within himself. He wrote this while in darkest depressive state during Covid. It's his inner monologue those dark black (Shadow)things that were bring him down. It's a conflict as self conflict that he won. Hence the dance and black colour a picture of his dark thoughts trying to keep him down and in a confining box, yet at the same time he's screaming/shouting 'Set me Free' from this inner fight. Notice the dancers push him into the box again and tower over him just like his thoughts were doing pulling him back into the dark circle of thoughts. The dancers act like Vombie's trying to grab and him and pull him down when he's up in the air but they fail and Jimin is suddenly in white showing his real tattoes down the back of his neck and back. The real him, the triumphant Jimin. He's finally free of the 'Shadow' his dark thoughts. It's art telling a story in dance, music and lyrics.

This song is by Jimin, not BTS. Another member of BTS (Suga) also has a song called Set Me Free on his solo mixtape D-2 from 2020, so this is called Pt. 2 to differentiate between the 2 songs. Personally I love Set Me Free Pt. 2, it's a very anthemic song that gets me pumped. And it showed a different side of Jimin we as fans don't often see. He's had a lot of hate thrown at him over the past 10 years so this song is basically a giant middle finger to all the people who have hated on him Thanks for the reaction though.

Yea, I didn't say it's a bad song, I even said I liked how it started. For me, the issue was how the song didn't progress dynamically. The intro was basically the entire, musically speaking, aside from 1 part with a different 808 rhythm. It started off really good, but then didn't go anywhere from there
