He probably does know how to fix it. In many of his early videos that I've seen he did stuff like deliberately loosen the skins on the toms to get a particular tone and he played with a literal exercise weight plate on his floor tom to get a distinctive sound. The skin looked floppy like a sheet of gladwrap but it worked. That dude clearly knows exactly how everything functions and can exploit it, so I'm certain he can either repair his drumkit easily or, if he doesn't have the tools, kludge something together that's just as good.

I honestly think if he rigged up 5-gal. buckets, Tupperware and coffee cans… and different sized metal garbage can lids for ride cymbals and a high hat he would still be better than 30% of pro drummers. It’s definitely his impeccable technique but also the SOUND he gets from his playing that’s beyond description… WAY beyond sick.
