Greyson is the heir to the Buddy Rich legacy. So technical and so artistic at the same time. If only I could put together a super-combo, it would be Greyson on drums, Jaco Pastorius on bass, Keith Jarrett on piano, John Coltrane on tenor sax, and Miles Davis on trumpet. I honestly didn’t care for jazz myself until I saw the movie “Whiplash” starring Miles Teller and J.K. Simmons (2014). Now I incorporate some of the jazz style in my rock/heavy metal band.
