my younger brother and I have spent a lot of time over the last few years watching 'reactors'... and we found you a while ago at least a year and change... and since we have been in bands over the last 45 years... most of the time ion the same band... you being a 'drummer' intrigued us and watching your first reaction to things we heard 40, 50, even 60 years ago gives us a little insight to ourselves.. On Monday October 21st early in the morning my brother age 65 passed away. I watched or listened to strawberry fields... it ws the first music I have listened to in about 3 weeks... since he went in the hospital I didnt listen to music much.... and then I just watched this reaction here and when you said it felt like you got a hug from your father...damn... my brother played guitar because of the Beatles.... we saw them on tv on Feb 9th 1964 and music was in our blood with a whallop ... our dad was a piano player and trained vocalist.... If you want... take a look at our songs... it would be appreciated... its all original.

Harrison also organized The Concert for Bangladesh, a first giant charity event, to raise money for refugees in Bangladesh. A great 3 LP box set of the live recordings was released. Harrison organized and played on many songs, and MC'd the event. He asked for friends to help. Leon Russell, Eric Clapton, Ringo, Billy Preston and a huge group of musicians on stage with him. One whole side of one LP is Bob Dylan, with a guitar, who never sounded better. Leon did an epic melody of songs. Harrison playing and singing great hits, with Clapton, Ringo. Just great stuff

George Harrison....a founding member of the music group that forever changed music, culture, and an era (The Beatles)...the first musician to incorporate musical instruments from other cultures into modern rock music....the first Ex Beatle to have a #1 album (All things must pass) as well as the first #1 song (My Sweet Lord 1970), as well as the last Ex Beatle to top the charts in the US (1988 I've got my mind set on you)...the first musician to put together a successful star studded charity event for famine relief (1971 Concert for Bangladesh)....1st musician to form and record music as a supergroup (The Traveling Wilburys)...and one of the VERY few artists (along with Ringo) who could ask any well known musician for a favor and they would come running to help. Can't find a better legacy than that...

Young parents, just like yourself, should expose and raise their children with the music of that bygone era from the late 60s to the mid-70s. That would be as close as they can get to having lived in that era, and experienced it first-hand.

I got to see Richie Havens sing Here Comes the Sun once in Eugene in the early 90's. (If you haven't seen his version of "Freedom" from Woodstock, you need to.) He was singing it during a rain storm. He got the audience to sing the verse "Here comes the sun" over and over until the clouds broke and the sun came out. Kinda magical : - ). You should watch the Bangladesh concert if you can find it. It's up there with The Last Waltz, Woodstock and Monterey Pop. Aside from all the classic star performances, watching Leon Russell do his Jumpin' Jack Flash medley and Billy Preston do That's the Way God Planned It is a real treat.

Just picture this. 1972 Madison square garden x2 nights. George had just stunned the world with his triple LP "all things must pass" and "My sweet Lord ". Eric Clapton was killing it with his band "Cream" you had half Beatles on stage. But the cherry on the top, came latter when Bob Dylan came on stage after being lost at sea for nearly 2 years. But the funny thing is... there was no previously rehearsal 😮Yeahp. A very few minutes before,George,on stage, finished a song and got a paper note, from a crew member saying "He's here ". George looks left and there's thumbs up and Is Bobness his climbing the side stairs to the stage. It was wild... The first public appearance from Dylan ...

I could never understand why he had to fight so hard to land a couple of songs per album. I felt he was that good. The quiet Beatle was hilarious in both a Hards Day Night and Help! Which didn’t hurt my infatuation. Here Comes the Sun and Something are perfect songs. While my Guitar Gently Weeps, Taxman and Old Brown Shoes are also favorites.
