Thanks L33 for doing my pick so quickly. I am so glad to see someone to react to this song. It has always been one of my favorites but no one ever reacts to it because it isn't one of their hits. Really glad that you liked it and the surprise at the end...top notch!

These early Chicago albums cannot be beat. They were firing on all cylinders. Great choice Dan M. Soulful vocals by Mr. Kath as always. 🔥🔥

There were so many great bands back in the day and I was fortunate to see a great many of them, but in my opinion there was no tighter band than Chicago. No bands back then sounded much like they did on the album, but they did. It was just incredible to see and hear them live.

So, Lee. Do you feel like you grew up in the late 60’s and early 70’s yet? I think you are there, Grasshopper. You ‘get’ most all of the great bands we grew up with. You ‘hear’ Jimi. And you are clearly digging Chicago. Welcome, my son… to the ‘greatest musical generation.’. Nice touch with the live surprise!

Back in the day, I was a fan of the first Chicago singles. I started buying their albums with #5. Now I’m revisiting their first three (double) albums and I am blown away at the inventiveness and genius of that early era.

Love this song I always knew, but from ‘live At Carnegie hall’ So much a lively recording… troughout! All four Lps… (Thanks for the fantastic Tanglewood video❤) At Carnegie Hall …it offers to the audience the best version of every song …I assure you! In absolute breathtaking detail!

Agree. They'd been playing those songs for awhile and really gelled. Terry's lead solos were better, too.

Outstanding Terry Kath tune. Great use of mixed vocals, brass, rhythm section -- there is nothing at all negative to say about this one, in my opinion.

One edition of New Years' Rockin' Eve, I think it was 1975, featured Chicago. Terry cut his hair and cleaned up real nice and everyone was wearing tuxedos. They were backed up by members of The Beach Boys on the song "Wishin' You Were Here" and it was a great show. I haven't looked for it lately, but it was on KZbin the last time I checked. Terry sang a solo song called "Tell Me" that was featured in the movie Electra Glide in Blue. It's a '70s cop movie that I haven't seen, but Chicago members play minor roles. According to Wikipedia, Lee Loughnane plays a pig farmer in a commune. Walter Parazaider is a member of that commune who gets roughed up by a law enforcement officer. Peter Cetera plays a murder suspect who undergoes a grueling interrogation. Terry Kath plays a role that is small, but critical to the movie. I might have to go watch it now.

It is still there. I saw it here within the last couple of weeks

To hear another side to Chicago, you should listen to "Devil's Suite" from Chicago VII. It's their most prog/jazz song.
