Her joy is infectious....the best description of Junna yet!!!! I only wish I could enjoy doing something as much as this young lady. Some have called her a "hot dog" or a "show off" nothing is further from the truth, she is such a ball of energy and joy it just explodes once she gets behind that kit. Hard to pick her sitting behind the band as this kind of energy has to be up front for the crowd to enjoy. She does a lot of these videos and any of them are just as much fun to experience. She is now with Yashiro/guitar in a Gothic Metal band.

If you are wondering Junna is 23 y.o. in this video, she really has an entertaining style. She was part of Kakumei Rock Girl Band before (now Trident with a new drummer) so you can check [voltage] for instance for a song with Junna on the drums. Geez Anzalone react to it and he was as good as a prom queen in the best cover he ever seen it was perfect. She did plan a band called Trident which are very very underrated Indi band doing the underground club scene.JRock/JPunk - HEVEE Bass and JUNNA playing the drums. She left the band a couple years ago. Basically how would you if your band is doing a gig for 100-ish people and all you hear is the 100-ish people chanting JUNNA JUNNA JUNNA. It took Triton a year to get another drummer and they locked out when they got this girl she's super legit so anything from up to a year is current band members. And again they're underrated sick. Maybe i'm a bit biased but I got two Japanese bands I dear: BAND-MAID and Nemophila. In BAND-MAID you got a drummer named Akane Hirose who's is a beast. BAND-MAID's songs seldom go straight trough in 4/4 time. So Akane need all the time change her rhythm trough the song. I find it very fascinating. In Nemophila you have got Tamu Murata. She's really fast on her feets, and use a lot of it trough the songs. I also suspect she's a fan of John Bonham because I can hear she add stuff into the song he did. For example she use the cymbals like he did. Maybe I want to hear that but listen for yourself and see what you self think. So in short, I want you to check out Akane and Tamu. They are truly skilled drummers.

Reaching away to reach her far away cymbal is a part of the show. She tries to move around a lot. Not just sitting there drumming. That is also why she hit cymbals here and there and move her arms over the head and are doing fancy sweeps with the stick. Visuals, you know :)

Pop-punk suggestion, I would suggest you watch Girl's Rock Band Kakumei when Junna was the drummer. Their last song together was Voltage. The group is not called Trident since Junna moved on.
