Next try reacting to Sie liebten sich beide for something new and fresh Narwhale full version is still one of the best but goddamn PGR have so many banger and many of them are so different and unique from each other. So far we have been listening to the main PGR music that have similar DNA but ton of PGR music is not only EDM or Trance but also Classic, rock, and even souls like. I'd recommend trying Crank, Shattered Doll, Flame of Hope, Evans Gambit, Exorcism for something a little bit different. That or try Dust, Under Dimension, In My Memory, or Last resort for more familiar PGR style

A lot of PGR's named tracks are both boss music, and character themes. The theme is either for the character that you're supposed to be playing, or the boss you're fighting. This theme *is* for the boss fight with Rosetta, the centaur girl that they show, but I believe it's also her character theme. Fun note, too, about Rosetta. She holds the record for time keeping a spot in PGR's meta. I believe it's over 4 years.

In addition, not just the boss's theme, but also the fighters' theme. The piano melody you heard in the song was Alpha's, as they reused the melody back into her own song for the Crimson Weave frame. It's not just the music for a fight, it's the music for THE fight. NGL this starting to remind me of Ace Combat Zero.

Structurally, many of PGR's OST releases are broken into 3 parts: Lobby/cutscene, active gameplay (combat), and final active gameplay (boss battle), and Narwhal follows this order sequentially, to which I'm sure you already know the divisions. Lamia, Dust, and Sie Liebten Sich Beide also follow this pattern. There are also exceptions to change it up. HIKARI starts with its boss theme, doesn't have a regular combat theme and ends with a cutscene track (I don't know if it was ever a lobby track, I dropped the game at the time and came back much later). Revelation starts with its regular combat, then transitions to its lobby and ends with the boss theme. Exorcism is the boss theme alone.

You are correct! This is a boss battle against Rosetta (the purple robot centaur girl on the right) while you play as Alpha (red swordswoman on the left), and the best part is that both of those characters are already playable in-game!

2:39 You're dead right! It's Rosetta boss fight, but also now become one of playable Character. She has a great lore and for several minutes on the beginning of this theme soundtrack fits her background and how dirty & dark story is. It's like you can feel how struggle, stressful and pain vibes delivered in this soundtrack in the beginning. And then she fights back for her life, exactly when the soundtrack gets builds up.

This song always gives me chills, and as is the case with many others it's the reason I found out about PGR in the first place. You should also listen to REVELATION. It's a banger with a great drop, like most of Vanguard Sound/Ghost Final tracks, but it also has an ambience part in the middle that I can't recommend enough.

Narwhal is not the best song in pgr, its a national anthem of pgr. everyone know it. every player hype whenever they listen to it during fight. for the best pgr song right now, no song can top Moonlit Occultation imo. anyway, great video dude. glad you like it.

Loved the reaction)) Please also check out other PGR tracks, my personal recommendations would be Last Resort (my personal favorite out of the bunch), Under Dimension, Exorcism (very different from the songs you've heard from the game, a lot heavier), In My Memory (really unusual song, has insane switchups), and a song that imo is criminally underappreciated, that being Moonlit Occultation. I have barely seen people talk about the song but it's insane how good it is.

Only one of those is Boss fight music! The entire track is for each part of the game. The first third is for the opening entering into the game. The second is a battle theme. And the third is the boss fight

PGR OSTs are usually built using different parts of their song for different things in-game. The first half is the menu song, the 2nd part is the regular battle theme, and finally the 3rd half is for the boss
