She got it going on! Love her covers! Love your Grand Funk double LP in the background!

Thank you, Lee! I’m glad you enjoyed Yoyoka’s cover! So powerful, yet so relaxed. And joyous! I think Ginger Baker would have approved of her creativity!

OK, I am definitely impressed. I mean, this is one of my favorite songs of all time and it’s just so heartening to see a young pre-adolescent getting down like Ginger Baker. Beyond cool. If there is such a thing.😂

There can be no doubt Yoyoka's drummin' skills are exceptional. Especially for her young age. I was introduced to her by the incredible version o' Led Zeppelin's Good Times Bad Times. If you haven't experienced it you owe it to yourself to listen 'n learn.

As you might know, YOYOKA won the weekly Hit Like A Girl contest, for her cover (that you reacted to) of Led Zepplin's, "Good Times, Bad Times. She was the youngest winner ever, in the category for 18 y.o. and Under - When she was freaking 8 y.o.! I'm thinking her T-Shirt though, is actually related to the fact that she later was a Judge for the same contest. So image showing up at the contest at age 30 and being introduced to an 11 y.o. Judge....lol Of course, I guess she was qualified since she had already been advising local bands that "This song would sound better if you played it this way.", when she was 6 y.o. Of course everyone looks around at each other like who dies this kid think she is, then tried it her way and agreed! A true phenom, in the most absolute sense!

Hey Lee. She also does "Burn" by Deep Purple while Ian Paice (Deep Purple's drummer) watches her and critiques. Check that one out. Peace.

You must have been adorable, Lee. I’m not a drummer, but I thought Yoyoka “nailed” Ginger’s beat, in her own style. With more fills (? not sure of terminology). And during Eric’s solo she was subtle with the cymbal hits. I think it really enlivened the song! Yoyoka came out of the womb with sticks in her hands! 😀 Xylophones can be fun. Your thumbnails are excellent. You’re cool. L33 is the best. A wonderful reaction, Lee! The Wrecking Crew is a good one to begin with. The little people❤️🙂 Ginger Baker’s style seemed flowing.

Great reaction, to a great song covered by one of the current and future drum greats hehe. Just wondering if you'd heard the Hendrix version? It's without vocals, but quite a guitar trip, as you can imagine. Worth seeking out.

Actually probably my least favourite Yoyoka cover; she doesn't get the opportunity to cut loose. To give an idea of what she's now capable of watch this improv. It's jaw-dropping kzbin.info/www/bejne/bp_SZGCLaKqXnZo
