Take it away, commenters! What should we do next in our Zappa quest? I absolutely loved this. Even though it got demonetized, it was worth it. Absolutely hilarious...

Dinah-Moe Humm might get demonetized as well but you owe yourself a listen. The late great Tina Turner sings the part of Dinah.

COCAIN DECISIONS, a forgotten radio hit. It charted for a while in the 80's and a great sing-along tune. It is a bit short so maybe play the following tune called SEX, which is second on the album after this one.

I Promise Not To Come in Your Mouth from the same Zappa In New York album. In the 90s, the composition got called Lather. It's an instrumental.

@@marcribe6483 When Frank reassembled Zappa In New York and the other three albums that WB didn't pay him for, he brought the newly packaged set to Mercury/Phonogram as Läther and he retitled I Promise Not To... as Läther.

I saw F, Zappa twice in the 70's, once at the Cole field house at the University of Maryland and then at the Capitol Center in Laurel ,Maryland. he was amazing. MY Friend named, Frank ,bass player, turned me on to Zappa! Between Hendrix & Zappa My life was never the same. God Almighty! Never saw Jimi Live but I saw a heck of a lotta concerts,as a teenageer in the 70's including Zappa! Mother Finest was an awesome band to see,back then too,amoung many others.....

@Royalle_with_Cheese2 ай бұрын
Not quite. Frank put out 62 albums in his lifetime, many more have come out posthumously, but of his 62, many more are live than "studio" albums. Even what you could call his "studio" albums have songs that were live and then tweaked in the studio.

used to hear this on the dr. demento show all the time (heavily edited of course). drummer terry bozzio plays the devil and during the song he says, "hey dale would you like to come up here and hold my pickle to satisfy this weird man out here on the stage". dale bozzio is his wife who was the singer for the band missing persons ("walking in L.A"., "words", "destination unknown").
