This rudiment changed how I approach playing fills and solos completely. It's THAT good. Thanks for the amazing lesson!

In August I travelled to Holland and took lessons with Martijn, Impressive versatile drummer! He even prepared me sandwiches & coffee.

The best demonstration thus far

This video is what made it all work for me. I didn’t get it until Martijn broke it down so well. It’s broken down slowly in sections that are explained well. I love your teaching style. Thank you sir!

Hi, I live in Korea. So, can I buy your book with E-BOOK instead of samples?
@DrummerMartijn5 жыл бұрын
Hi vegabond, at the moment there's only a hard copy available (world wide shipping!). You might wanna send an email to my publisher Dirkjan @ Percussionbooks.com though. Maybe he can help you out.

I learnt the six stroke roll as double double single single
@DrummerMartijn4 жыл бұрын
that would actually be a paradiddlediddle (or diddle diddle para in your case). These rudiments look alike but are not the same!
@shannonmorehu40204 жыл бұрын
@@DrummerMartijn yeah they do sound different like I’m 16 and been playing the drums for a year now also with the 7 stroke it’s 3 doubles one single which I’m sure is right

How come the 1 and 6 are being accented instead of 1 and 3. Hope this question makes sense.
@DrummerMartijn Жыл бұрын
Because you typically accent the single strokes, not the double stroke. But that's just a starting point!

Maak een Nederlandse video maat
@DrummerMartijn3 жыл бұрын

Bloody good drummers just can’t help show off can they? Teach us how to do it, we don’t need to see your flash skills!
