Lake Street Dive is a new discovery for me and I have been checking around different videos. There hasn't been a disappointment yet. Talented musicians that let their talent shine through how they play for the song instead of to show off chops - everything was perfect for the song!

I'm only here because I decided I'd just slowly work through all your videos, and while this was a bit different than others, I dig it! I'm an extreme beginner learning music production and I really love your style of pausing and rewinding because it gives me a chance to listen more closely to the supporting instrumentation that I normally don't consciously pay attention to, as well as introducing me to new music!

Wish more people knew about them, they should have been superstars. This lineup came up though the New England Conservatory, they're all jazz nerds and they formed this band there. Yes sirr!! I recently was having a discussion with some of my friends (who are a bit new in the musician scene) about what is means to be in the pocket. This is a great example of that, band is tight! Bass/drums giving a solid foundation and still having a good amount of variation. A lot of little ear candy throughout the song that’s tasteful and doesn’t distract from the vocals. Each section is set up well, and the groove is nicee. Hadn’t heard of this group before, thanks for the reaction😎

The wild thing is that these guys are even better live. Not just good writing and good execution, but damn good performances. Also, the bassist Bridget is the primary songwriter, and shes just brilliant!

Thanks for the reaction video on this one Tony, watching you react and then deconstruct this beautiful track endorses my feelings about the song. It’s actually quite an emotional watch.
