I tried that recently and it was lovely. Don't forget to try Black Powder Flintlock gin also made with gunpowder and 60% proof.❤

It‘s actually mindboggling, that you guys haven’t reviewed this classic yet! As it is mindboggling, that you can’t find this beautiful Gin in our local stores here in Germany-_-

It has taken us quite a while to review it, but the strange thing is that we drink it quite often. It is a shame you can't get it freely in Germany but I'm sure you have easier access to some amazing gins that we would love over here. Thanks for watching.

Tell me I only had a bad batch (which shouldn't even be a thing, but that's besides the point), because I thought that aside from a somewhat herbal, spicy, peppery baseline (probably of gunpowder tea) it was just overwhelmingly tart. On the nose I thought "oh nice and citrusy", neat I thought "that's pretty tart", and combined with the bitterness of tonic it just made my mouth pucker involuntarily. Such a weird gin, and probably the most prominent case of "I don't understand the hype" of any gin I've had yet. No clue how I'm supposed to recommend this to anyone.

That's really interesting what you found, maybe try some different tonic options like Walter Gregor or Navas. This sounds like it might not be the gin for you but don't give up on it.
