Xetrix Yeah I've seen them, but look at the amount of comments compared to the number of views. The majority of people don't even comment on youtube. The problem is the people who decide to voice their opinion on youtube tend to do it in a really terrible way. The youtube comments are the worst way to get an idea of the community, because once something gets popular the immature kids feel like they need to jump on the bandwagon of what's "cool". Most of the community are just fans of music who like to listen to good music. Its just these people have no reason to comment because the view counter/ like-dislike ratio/ amount of sold songs will show that. Not the comments

This is totally different from what is usually on Monstercat, and I like that. Seeing that Monstercat is okay with putting up something you would usually only see on UKF or another big record/label that puts big and mainstream Dubstep makes me happy to see that Monstercat, as a label, is diverse enough to even put non-Diverse songs on the channel. I wouldn't say this song was worth the hype, but it definitely is a great song. Heavy yet conserved (kind of...), mainstream yet unique, and it is really a great song to listen to every now and then. I have to say that this is a really nice collaboration and sets a bit of a mark in Monstercat history. I love this, and I hope to see Monstercat grow even more from doing this! Great job Pegboard Nerds, Excision, and Mayor Apeshit! It seems that Rich Edwards is one fast worker. He has only been on 2 albums and he already has produced a lot of songs! Jonny Rose is an amazing vocalist, so I hope to see how this turns out! Looks like the week ill yet again be great. 2015 is already living up to the hype that Monstercat promised!

This is not my tipe of Drumstep but it seems ok. I have listened to Excision before but some Monstercat artists are much more talented imo. Although drumstep songs by Rogue and Tristam may not as heavy and cool for 14 year olds who want to seem badass, the rythm is so much better. I thought electronic music is past that point when the intensity made everything. My impression was that a chill vibe with an epic, yet not too intense drop and some beautiful vocals was called a succesful beat. Then, mainstream artists come over and bury the work of the real talents in electronic music. A little dissapointing.

I think I know why people are getting so butthurt over this song; this song is pretty out of the ordinary for Monstercat, and despite what some people might think, all Monstercat songs have a somewhat similar style. This is something more fit for UKF or Never Say Die, and I believe that's why so many Monstercat fan(boy)s are hating on this song. Couple of fun facts: This is part of Excision's Codename X album which includes other genres like dubstep, dubstyle, liquid and Moonbahcore. It also features Downlink, Spaces Laces, The Frim, Messinian and Splitbreed. This also appeared as a 2015 preview in Shambhala 2014 and the featured vocalist Mayor Apeshit is a member of the Excision-made label, Rottun Records. I'm still waiting for that xKore, Pegboard Nerds Excision, Datsik and Downlink collab to be released on Rottun, Firepower and Monstercat.
