This song shaped my confidence for some reason. That eerie intro is so chill inducing. I was like 18 listening to this over and over just slaying on call of duty and battlefield and this song and music just like it were the first ones I started working out to and it’s just bringing me way back listening to it now that I’m 23. So many good years. So many good memories. Old relationships, old friends, old valuable memories. My life was really shaping up during this period and this song is just so nostalgic for me in that sense and It’s giving me that same young mentality. It makes me feel like being that same guy I used to be. I’m not him anymore sadly. I’m like slowing down and not as interested in anything anymore... kinda depressing to speak about but it’s true. I’m like slowing down mentally. Not as confident and not as involved in my life or anyone else’. I’ve changed so much since 2014. In 2014 I was dating around, meeting new people, girls, I had just gotten my first job, I was much thinner, look more handsome and now I’m like deteriorating both mentally and physically and nothing interests me as much anymore. I don’t carry around casual excitement or drive for much anymore and it’s sooooooo weird.. hasn’t even been that long but I feel like I’m in my 40s. Listen to me vent about my declining life since I graduated. As if anyone’s gonna read this garbage lol. But on the chance you do, let me know what you were doing when you were listening to this song and what it meant to you lol

Sounds like depression territory. You don't think it is. To you, things just don't have that same shine they once did. I'd get yourself checked out for it just in case. Trust me, by the time you realise it IS depression, you're pretty messed up and its a lot harder to dig yourself out of the hole you're in.

I'm a fan of nobody and everything. I like specific songs, like Tristam's "Till It's Over", or Pegboard Nerds "Bassline Kickin'". I rarely have more than one or two songs from any given artist on a particular playlist, or like more than 2 or 3 songs from an artist, so I ignore those fights. This is mainly because I like EVERYTHING. Everyone has their own opinion, including me. Just give me song, and i'll tell you whether I like it.

This, along with other works from the likes of Pixl, Protostar, Stephen Walking, Bustre and Stonebank, were what got me onto the label back in 2014, and boy oh boy is it timeless, like a great deal of the Mcat catalogue at this time. I remember first hearing this track through the 'Radio' feature on iTunes back when you didn't have to pay for it, and like many, I just loved it. So glad that people like Au5 can still capture this chaotic energy in their current music because it's a style that I'll never tire of. 🤍
