+Private Identity I just received a response from Drum-tec answering this very question. They said, "NO. The additonal kits are available only when you purchase a Roland module directly from us". Bummer, huh? I have built my own kits on my TD-15 and then played around with reverb, room, EQ, etc. settings. Then also adjusted random things like the "snare buzz" and gotten some incredible sounds. In fact, I have heard that this is all that Drum-Tec has done. Same with the Johnny Rabb and Thomas Lang kits that Roland "built in" as part of a promotion a couple years to sell more modules. With time for lots of experimentation you can build some killer kits, too, I'm sure.

No, apart from Roland TD-50, no Roland module offers the possibility to import external sounds/samples. The drum-tec sound editions are pre-configured/mixed preset kits to overall widen the sound variety inside of your module. Kind regards!
