After watching the DW DWe (all wireless electronic drums) just released pre-order video… OMG! They sound so much better than anything else on the market. E.g., although Roland’s TD-50X module is their flagship, the A/B comparison makes the 50X sound like a digital toy compared to DW. What’s needed? To get the cost of a DWe-type kit down in price and still be well made and 100% wireless with super low latency.

Just run any module through a drum VST and it will sound on par or even better than DWe.

When you run EZ drummer or anyother vst with a roland TD50x can you still EQ the sounds and have all the editing capabilities of the TD50X on the vst sounds Thank you

you'd use the EQ from the VST or use the VST in a DAW to EQ there. The module only sends MIDI data that the VST converts to audio
