You can start any anime that's usually 12 episodes and each one of them are interesting because if u start off with FMA, they will lose interest... except for the best moments. Find out what they like, for example my dad loves more action and gore meanwhile my mom loves shojo and interesting plots so I show them Death note. Then when I watch alone with my mom I show her Kaichou wa Maid sama! And with my dad alone, one punch man.

@@Sexiraina1993 Yeah a lot of context in Pokémon moves are lost in translation unfortunately, like why Fire Blast shoots fire in the shape of (what I thought was a man when I was little) the kanji for big 大 which is the shape bonfires are lit in during Daimonji or why Seismic Toss (Earth Throw) shows planet earth, the weirdest ones are when the original is a reference to a saying or some old technique (False Swipe referring originally to using the back of a blade to do non-lethal damage, or Assist referring to a saying that goes something like "I'd even take help from a cat's paws") My personal favourite is Aerial Ace which originally refers to the technique used by legendary swordsman Sasaki Kojiro which would be so fast that modern fictional depictions usually present it as _undodgeable_. But then in English we just get "aerial ace"... This has been my 2am ted talk about Pokémon trivia.
