Not usually before, but I used to play at a club where the 9th and 18th shared a double green in front of the clubhouse, I'd always play better on the back 9 after a couple of half time refreshments

I walked out of a club at 6am in the morning full to the boot and had my best round ever to date. Shot a 34 on front 9 and a 39 on back 9. Started to sober up on back 9. It was an effortless game from what I recall lol.

Gotta say OMP is in tremendous shape for being 80. I know lots of 60 year olds who physically can’t do much anymore, especially not bend over, tee up shots and hit greens! OMP is an excellent role model.

Drinking Heineken, 1 can per hole, in thailand. Can't recall too much but did get an eagle on a par 5....had to apologise to group in front. Plus it cost me 100 bht for each caddie x 5.....for the eagle.......lol Great day, terrific course and loads of fun in the sun.

Our Johnny Cope Golf Outings are always fuelled by lots drink, and good for settling any nerves on 1st tee. Next week we are playing our annual Rab Knox memorial golf day at the Royal Musselburgh Golf Club 1774. Format is 2 teams playing Foursomes now this is a serious fun drink fest from minute one until last man standing. We really need to try & introduce a 2 handicap system a handicap when sober & another handicap when drunkish.

Great video, very funny seeing you all a little worse for wear! We play for the Lee Trevino trophy with my golf mates... on the first tee you are given a “litre of vino” which has to be drunk on the way round! The scores tend to get worse as you drink more!

I've played golf with an 80 before years ago..amazing gentleman he hit good Not long but always in fairways and straight every time..putts really good too..he said key thing is doing what makes you happy will keep you alive longer and stronger and I plan on doing that

Seems Liam’s shoulders are aimed left while his feet are aimed right on his tee shots. That promotes an outside in or slice swing. I have the same issue.

It was OK. It’s two club lengths with a driver and Mr Barlows drop was clearly within that. (In the rules club length is defined as the longest club in the bag not being a putter.)

Tom Brøcher Jakobsen don't you have to actually use that club to measure tho? Otherwise the rule could just state drop within 2 metres or some measurement. I know his drop was within the length of two Drivers but it does look suspicious. Some people don't even carry a driver so what happens then? It has to refer to the club you are measuring with.

Teeing up at hole 1 there was at lot of noice from hole 18. Playing mate: Oh that’s the xx-brothers. Once they were arguing how many beers they have had. One of them claimed 18 because they have had one per hole. The other said: “No, it’s 19, because we had one just before we tee’ed off.”
