Carmilla funnily enough is actually a giant black cat, it’s stated at the end of season 1 and mentioned all throughout seasons 2 and 3 and in the Christmas special. I would recommend watching the rest of the seasons it fill in a lot of the questions you asked and there’s sexy lady kisses
