I recently made a faith/int build and was absolutely slaying. Faith/int is incredibly powerful,especially with night sorceries. I started to think it may be the best build, until in the battle arena I came up against what looked like a hoplite type character! He used a bloody helice (what I thought was a spear initially) and a fingerprint greatshield and also he was incredibly agile. He dodged my sorceries and closed the distance. I think that’s one of the best tactics to use against pure casters specifically. Close the distance! Casters have the advantage of being projectile warriors, closing the distance can shift the dynamic dramatically, especially if the melee warrior has good defence and is fast.
